Thank you for your interest in EDAcon.

As I set up the sales channel at Verisity, I realized what a huge investment we were making and saw how long this process took us. It took us almost 8 years to have a trained team in every target country, and the cost of setting up the business ran into the millions of $US.

While it was a great experience for me and allowed me to get to know the different countries, cultures and business environments, I couldn’t help but think of the huge investment we were making.

That is when I realized that this major effort and investment were actually not really needed. They were not our core competency, since like most EDA startups our strength was in the technology, and if it were possible we could and should have outsourced it.

In these challenging financial times, when companies need to constantly improve their efficiency, outsourcing is no longer a “dirty” word. Many companies buy IPs, outsource part of the design or verification tasks, use outside accounting and legal help, etc.

EDAcon offers you the opportunity to outsource your sales activities and use an experienced sales team while you focus on the development of your products and your corporate strategy. We will manage the sales activities in the territories you define and take responsibility for the sales results in these territories.
